Warranty & Repairs

Free repair for quality issues in the first 30 days; paid repairs and re-plating after that.

We repair what we make. The split is simple: a manufacturing fault in the first 30 days is free; wear and accidental damage after that is quoted before we touch it.

Covered free in the first 30 days

  • Loose or missing stones where the setting failed.
  • Clasp or hinge failure on a new bracelet or necklace.
  • Plating defects — bubbling, flaking or bare patches on arrival.
  • Sizing errors on a ring we made to your stated size.

Chargeable after 30 days

Repairs after the first 30 days are quoted individually: shipping, stone replacement, re-setting, re-plating, chain or clasp replacement. We confirm the price before any work starts, and the typical turnaround is 10–20 business days. The customer pays return shipping to us; we pay shipping back.

Not covered

  • Scratches, dents and wear from daily use.
  • Damage from resizing or repair by a third party.
  • Stones chipped by impact — including diamonds, which cleave along grain.
  • Loss of the piece, or of a stone that fell out after an impact.
  • Tarnish on 925 silver, which is normal and is not a fault.

How to start a repair

Email service@holycome.com with your order number and a clear photo of the problem. We reply with an assessment and, if chargeable, a quote. Do not send the piece before you have a repair number.

Resizing

Silver rings are exchanged rather than resized. Gold and platinum rings can usually be resized by one or two sizes; eternity bands and rings with stones running the full circumference often cannot be resized without rebuilding the setting, and we will say so before you send it.

Re-plating

Rhodium plating on white gold and gold-plated silver wears with friction — typically 12–24 months on a ring worn daily. Re-plating is chargeable and can be combined with a polish and inspection.
